My Contribution
Our game was relatively simple, so there was not as much to do. I chose to focus on the UI/design side of the game.
We worked together on ironing out the design of the game.
- Visual - Shaders(Outline, CRT), Post Processing
- UI - Menu, Scene, Settings
Reflection
With a small scope and a brief timeframe, I decided to focus on UI and Visuals. I created a few simple shaders and played around with Post Processing.
It was a good practice to learn/implement some simple shaders to enhance the game experience (CRT, Chromatic Aberration)
We wanted the game to be a short simple retro thriller/horror game, and with the number of artists we had, I think we managed to produce a good feeling of it.
I did little programming since we had to split up the work between three programmers. But overall, we are happy with the results.
We definitely had to cut a few features/visual implementations out of the game due to time constraint, but we did pretty well in the game voting.
